1 year with the royal electric iron

Caleb, Aba, paid ₦15,000, bought from Jumia, used 1 year, a paid story. 4 out of 5. Would recommend it: Yes.

I needed an electric iron that doesn't consume much power or electricity that I can also use with my generator even when there's a power outage from PHCN because my other heavy duty iron does not do well with low power or generator, so I went online on jumia and started searching for affordable electric irons, and after searching for a very very long time I finally discovered few irons. I saw one royal electric iron, then I picked that one and read the reviews then ordered it from jumia. It took quite some time maybe like a week or two but I got it the iron actually works very well with generator it is not a heavy duty iron it is a light iron it does not use plenty heat or a lot of heat and it's also a non-stick iron so it doesn't burn cloth. It does not have a water section for you to put water and create mist or spray on your clothes it is just an electric iron and it's not heavy duty, works best with clothes that aren't very thick. It also works well with both electricity from the PHCN or the generators, and it rarely impacts my generator. I just needed something lightweight, and I finally got one. The royal iron is actually a very good iron, it has a control knob that allows you to switch between fabric type so you don't burn your clothes by mistake each fabric type determines the amount of heat that will be given out, it also has a thermostat so when you get to that set heat for the particular fabric it's stops the iron from heating the more so everything was created very well. The body of the iron is mostly plastic and it's only a bit metallic on the bottom that generates the actual heat for ironing, this electric iron has saved me a lot of things because there isn't always electricity in this area where I live so the best thing is to use your generator, and using a generator with a heavy duty iron is not possible because the generator will always go off but since I got this iron I've been able to use it comfortably with my generator and my fridge turned on. It has been a very good help for me because I always need my clothes ironed before going for anything like work, study, church or any engagement or meetings I have, I always need to look good and sharp, it is a very good product and I highly recommend

Good: Good value for money, Easy to set up and use.

Let down: Feels cheap.
