One month with the Glo 4g router
Uzowara, Port Harcourt, paid ₦30,100, used 1 month. 5 out of 5. Would recommend it: Yes.
I bought the Glo 4g router because I wanted a stable Internet connection that wouldn't be interrupted by calls, while I'm actively working with data on my laptop, and it worked really good.
I had times when I'd get spam calls from service providers or random people and I hated the fact that it interrupts my network connectivity, so I decided to get a router, and since I already used the Glo network, I thought it'd be good to buy a Glo router too.
When I first got it I was skeptical, I wondered how the connectivity was like, if it'll be fast, but turns out I didn't really have to worry about any of that.. it was really good.
I was really surprised at their data prices, they're actually really affordable and the network is also really good, but what got me the most was the fact that it can last the whole day after charge without power supply, which is really helpful as currently nepa has been bad in my area and we haven't seen light in a while, so it only gets to charge at night when the generator is on for about 2-3 hrs, so basically it charges for just that long and it lasts for a longer time than it needs to be charged, it's been on since yesterday morning around 11 am and it had time to charge, although it was left on while charging too, was also left on throughout the night and it's still running right now, and hasn't really shown any signs of dying soon, And also the act that the charger is actually type C made it even better, cause it meant that if it died I would be able to charge with my power bank if there's no light and that made me really happy honestly
Although it tends to lose network when it rains, haven't really found a fix for that, because well it is out of my control.
Sometimes I get disconnected from the router randomly... I couldn't understand why though, but it seemed like it was during times of slow or bad network on the Glo service line... So I'd usually just turn it off. I also had problems connecting my laptop to the router at first... But the problem was from my laptop. I had to adjust some settings and it fixed the issue of it saying can't connect to this network.
Good: Good value for money, Easy to set up and use, Battery lasts long.
Let down: Weaker or slower than promised.
